It hasn’t taken long for Pedro Caixinha to make an impact at Ibrox. His Rangers side brushed aside Hamilton Academical with ease on Saturday, surging to a 4-0 victory and stretching their unbeaten streak to four matches.
The Gers were in sparkling form and although Hamilton are stuck in something of a rut right now, it was still an important win and just adds to the feeling of positivity around Ibrox right now.
Goals from Emerson Hyndman, Martyn Waghorn, Lee Wallace and Clint Hill provided the victory in a match they never looked like losing. For Hill in particular it must have been a pleasing day, unbelievably scoring his third goal in three matches.
Caixinha’s side can now head into the international break with their heads held high and now have plenty of time on the training pitch with their new manager to improve even further.
There are big challenges ahead in April, most notably against Aberdeen and Celtic, so it’s vitally important they build on recent results.
Supporters were delighted to see a notable difference in their team and took to Twitter to enthuse about the performance…
